Newsletter - June 2008

Dear Parent & Carers

Our topics for this term will be as follows: We would be grateful if you would encourage your son/daughter to look around to see if they can find relevant items to bring into pre-school, please made sure they are clearly labelled with your child's name.

• 2nd - 6th June - Holidays
• 16th - 20th June - Counting Week
• 23rd - 27th June - Summer Time
• 30th - 4th July - Letters and Sounds
• 7th - 11th July - Things I have enjoyed at pre-school
• 14th - 18th July - Going to School
• 21st - 23rd July - Party Games

Please make sure these are paid by Friday 23rd May, as we have to make sure we have the correct staff ratio to children. Anyone who does not already attend and wishes to do so, then please see Jenny or Sandra.

We hope the children enjoyed finding everything on their sheets and raising money to fund out Outdoor Play Area. Can you please bring back sponsor forms ASAP thank you.

The committee will be meeting again in June - as you may be aware many of our existing members will be leaving us at the end of July so we are looking forward to seeing new members at this meeting (see notice board for date).Please come and join us, as the pre-school cannot run without a committee.

Our bears are getting upset as they have very few holidays booked. Anyone going on holiday and wishing to take a bear with them, complete with books - games etc, then please see Sandra.

The next committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 22nd April 2008 in the committee room at the community centre, if you are not already a member and you wish to become one (we are always pleased to see new parents/carers) then please come and join us.

Our Summer Trip to Animal Farm will be on Tuesday 1st July; everyone should have received a booking form. Please make payments as soon as possible as we need to confirm how many coaches are needed.

Please remember that the pre-school will be closed to children on Thursday 17th July 2008

We would like to wish all the children leaving us to go to school in September every happiness in the future, the staff all hope they have enjoyed their time with us, good luck to you all.

Lastly we would like to wish you all a lovely summer holiday (don't forget the sun cream and hats). We look forward to welcoming back those returning to us in September.
